Sony Ericsson has recently launched their "Volkswagen" for the masses, the Z300i. Small and neat, the Z300i is a clamshell design mobile phone for people who don't just want to talk but flaunt it as well.

Weighing only 91 grams and measuring 85.5 x 45 x 23 mm, the Z300i has a lot of style coupled with good looks and simple functionality. It supports most network operator services operating on GSM 900 and 1800. It has two screens; one, a bright 65,536-colour screen that lets you enjoy colorful messaging with text and sound and the other, a 64 x 64 monochrome external screen for time and caller info. With the graphic icon desktop, you can easily identify your favorite phone features and reach your phonebook and messaging with one key press.

Also available are changeable front and back covers that have a great appeal for the style conscious individuals looking for an inexpensive phone that fits their lifestyle. The clam opens to reveal a surprisingly large keypad plus a navigation key that reaches all the main functions in one click. The outer display shows the clock and incoming call information. The Z300i focuses on voice and text, but it also offers a picture phone book, calendar, reminders, alarm clock, wallpapers and themes.
