In true MTV ish-style, MTV Networks Asia has partnered with Motorola to launch "Mobbed" an entertainment platform defining, exploring and celebrating "mobile culture," across the Asia Pacific region including seven countries; India, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Philippines.

Mobbed is a first for MTV Networks Asia, and is a program fully interactive and integrated across platforms including on-air, online, on-mobile and on-ground thus helping MTV leave no stone unturned in reaching-out to its wide audience.

Mobbed has been designed as a complete package, with Motoalert, Mob Squad and Mobtage - part of the nine in-all key icons. Motoalert provides Mobbers not only with the latest news and downloads, but also features new artist profiles every month. Mob Squad is a group of dysfunctional animated characters dubbed Gus, Donny Sunshine and Lenny whose adventures or rather mis-adventures form a large part of the content of this animated series. Mobtage is a sort of creativity contest wherein the best MMS/image will win a new Motorola phone, besides getting featured on MTV.

The on-air segment of Mobbed will be hosted by local MTV VJs. In India, MTV VJ Nauheed of "Piya Basanti" fame will do the honours; while in Singapore/Malaysia/Philippines, Australia, Indonesia, and Thailand, MTV VJs Max, Nathan, Cathy and Tye respectively will host the show.

Nigel Robbins, president - MTV Networks Asia Pacific, said, "Mobbed reinforces MTV's commitment to connect with our audience on every
platform possible. Not only do we create fun and cool branded content that can be downloaded easily at the click of a button, such as the Mob Squad mobile animated series, but we also allow for user-generated content so the youth can express themselves and take over MTV via the cutting-edge MMS to TV platform Mobtage. This expanded development is testimony to the success we have enjoyed with Motorola. With Motorola's technology and personalization intelligence and MTV's widespread influence on youth, Mobbed will empower Asian youth to further interact in the wireless world."

Neil Stewart, marketing director - mobile devices business, high growth markets, Motorola, said, "We are extremely excited about the Mobbed property and our relationship with MTV Networks Asia. MTV helps Motorola to re-energize our brand image and gain greater resonance with our youth mobile users. With the launch of Mobbed by MTV and Motorola, we will be providing an even more creative and innovative platform for youth to get branded entertainment via their mobile screens."

Its good that you encourage Motorola, but I did not find any justification on why you hate nokia. Nokia is also good in its Strudy and features - points of problems will always be there in any product and company.
