Acer has launched its new wide-screen TravelMate 3010 notebook, featuring Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology.
Acer's got one more feather in its cap - becoming the first vendor to offer dual-core, ultra-portable computing with its new wide-screen TravelMate 3010 notebook, featuring Intel's Centrino Duo (NAPA) mobile technology. The TravelMate 3010 is targeted at business professionals who require reliable, go-anywhere computing.
According to company sources, TravelMate 3010 weighs 1.5 kg (with
built-in camera), features an ultra-compact form factor (A4 size)
with a pre-coating aluminum design finish, and is easily portable. It has 16:10, 12.1-inch widescreen with Acer CrystalBrite technology that
promises to offer 30 percent more picture visibility and readability. In the increasingly mobile business environment, the new TravelMate 3010 series (TM3010) is equipped with Intel 945GM Express chipset for outstanding performance and better responsiveness. eNet Management, Acer ePower Management and Acer ePresentation Management.
Additionally, the latest proprietary Acer Signal Up and Acer GridVista technologies have been incorporated into this notebook for more reliable wireless connectivity, as well as optimized feature driven display management. The Acer QuicCharge battery technology
intelligently monitors battery performance, and enables the notebook to reach 80 percent capacity in about an hour of charging it.
The Integrated Acer OrbiCam high-resolution, 1.3 megapixels CMOS camera and optional Acer Bluetooth VoIP phone work hand-in-hand to effectively relay high-quality video and images for clear and effective video communication. The Acer OrbiCam's 225-degree rotation lets users capture videos/photos on both sides of the display; two preset positions (front and back) allow users to present up front or at the back of the screen without turning the notebook. Acer VisageON technology precisely simulates and pinpoints 22 co-ordinates on the presenter's face to keep him/her at the center of the screen.
