There is a reason why GTA is the ruling franchise in PlayStation systems, and that is the freedom the game offers to us. Let's be honest, who wouldn't want the freedom to steal any car they like or perhaps beat any one. The freedom to do all these crazy acts (which in the real world would land us in jail, of course) is what attracts us to this fantastic game. GTA entered the world of the hand held system via the technical wonder i.e. GTA Liberty City Stories. The game has its share of difficulties, but is by far one of the best in its class

Small Wonder
The world of GTA has always astonished gamers; the concept of a full city as your playground (literally) is just too amazing. This time Rock Star North went to a higher level by giving us the same GTA world on the PSP. One UMD gives you the whole GTA experience and without any loss in quality and gameplay.

Now let's focus on the game, this new installment in the GTA Franchise has lived up to its reputation. Honestly the game looks like a GTA: Vice City expansion more than a new game, but is that really a problem? The game begins with Toni Cipriani, fresh-out-of-jail henchman. He works for Salvatore Leone, a mafia boss (there goes a point for originality). Now that Toni is back he has to take care of the Leone family's problems, which include supremacy over the city. Toni goes around town solving problems for the Leone family, which range from rescuing other gang members to killing in enemy territory. The storyline is not this games forte and offers no interest. But some missions are quite fun and hard as well, which adds to the excitement.

The story line is 10 - 12 hours of gameplay, which is about 40 - 45 % of total gameplay. There are various other missions like the taxi, ambulance, vigilante and a few more including other elements such as hidden packages and special jumps. The missions are quite simple and don't offer much of a challenge, other than a few action packed missions. The control on the PSP is par excellence and driving around is easy and smooth. A few missions where you have to drive and shoot at the same time can be a little tricky.
