Google has launched a new product - Google Page Creator, a free, easy, browser-based tool for creating attractive web pages.

Google has launched a new product - Google Page Creator, a free, easy, browser-based tool for creating attractive web pages.

Google maintains that Google Page Creator has been designed with ease-of-use in mind. Its interface enables users to edit and create pages just as they appear online, without knowledge of HTML or other computer programming languages. Combined with a simple one-step publishing process, users can create attractive, functional web pages in minutes - hosted by Google for free.

Google Page Creator is a web-based tool - that means no download is necessary. Users need only visit http//pages.google.com, and sign in using their Gmail account to begin creating and publishing their own web pages.

Google Page Creator will be available on Google Labs, but the search giant has decided to limit the number of page sign-ups in order to provide users with an optimal publishing experience. The company holds that due to extraordinary demand, it recently reached that limit so they've temporarily paused additional sign-ups.

Users may check the Google Page Creator website regularly for updates or submit their email address to a wait list, and Google will contact them when they have the capacity to support additional users.

Be proud and give a try, even for a layman. What is so difficult about creating ?WEB PAGES?! You can create without Google Page Creator If you have M/S Office 2000 or above installed in your computer, you can very easily create Web Pages by yourself with the help of WORD, in ?NEW OFFICE DOCUMENTS?, then save on your Harddisk and load it at your convenient time to WWW. Creating Web Pages in this way yourself, without any help and that too in your own computer with WORD, is fully automatic and you can edit also at latter stage with the WORD. Why not give a TRY! I have already made Web Pages three times before and it works fine. Even if you go on WWW and open some Web Pages, you will notice that many of the Web Pages are created with the help of ?WORD? in M/S Office, by big companies even, and then uploaded. Type and create some pages in the word and save them as we page. You can also insert Photos, Sound and Links. SHEWAK

Typing http//pages.google.com will take you to Microsoft, as its made to work that way. You need to type : after http. If you type http://pages.google.com, you will reach to the google page. If you type just http// and any address after that, you will be redirected to microsoft website. Sachin Palewar www.palewar.com

Well currently they have limited the no. of users. So they ask for ur email so that they can inform you when they have more users available. But the page gets submitted even if you don't enter your email address. Does this mean that entering your email is just fad. And nothing really happens?
