"Indicom 10," touted as a superior phone, with advanced features such as SMS, speaker-phone, caller ID, address book and polyphonic ringtones; is available on the LG LSP 400T handset, and is priced at an activation charge of Rs 1,650. The phone can be installed anywhere in a state, where Tata Indicom's network coverage is available.
"Indicom 10" comes with a 10-digit number starting with "92," similar to that of their mobile phones. With the service operating on Tata Indicom CDMA wireless platform, the phone does not require physical wiring for last mile connectivity.
With its new phone Tata Indicom aims to target existing and potential landline home phone users, by offering a uniform rate of 90 paise per minute across the state. The offering is completely pre-paid with advantages of cost-control, easy re-charge and customer convenience.
Tata Indicom claims it is possible to control the monthly home phone budget, as also get an instant connection over the counter, with its "Indicom 10".
