The new Nikon Coolpix S4 is a swivel-type digicam that features a tiltable lens that can be turned without having to turn the camera. This particular feature allows for taking of self portraits or other pictures where standing right in front of the object is not an option. Apart from the twisty, swivelly goodness, the camera features a 6-megapixel sensor and a lens that does a nice 10X zoom. The rear of the Coolpix S4 has a sufficiently roomy 2.5-inch LCD screen. The camera comes with 13.5MB of internal memory and an SD card slot for expansion.

MY EXPERIENCE SAY DONT GO FOR IT, BECUASE 4 MONTHS BACK I BOUGHT ONE NIKON COOLPIX (FORGOT THE MODEL NO. BUT THAT THE LATEST) FROM ABU DHABI DUTY FREE, THE SALES MAN SAID ITS AN INTERNATIONAL WARANTEE, NOW IM GETTING A SYSTEM ERROR MESSAGE, THE NIKON DEALER IN BAHRAIN NOT READY TO CHECK OR REPLACE.....BE CAREFUL ABOUT THE WARANTEE..DONT GET CHEATED..

I have an Olympus Camedia C750 with 10x zoom and it has been performing wonderfully till now. I will recommend the later model C770 for any one who wants an optical zoom of 10x (which I think is very important).

The coolest 10X zoom cam I've seen...quite different from the usual bulky SLR-like models. I wonder much it wud be priced...
