This is a continuation to our earlier guide "Mobile Phones Around 5K", where low pricing more than features was a priority. However, in this guide we bring you a few phones that are moderately priced, as well as loaded with features that almost all of us look for. Check them out here and see which one fits your profile and budget.
Sony Ericsson
Sony Ericsson K300i - Rs 6,800
The K300i is an easy-to-use and stylishly packaged tri-band phone that features a built-in 640 x 480 camera with 4x digital zoom, video/sound recorder, MP3 player, 3D Java games, a good 65k TFT color display, 40-voice polyphonic ring tones, ring tone composer (Music DJ) and a decent 12 MB of integrated memory. Voice controls, embedded and downloadable Java games, MMS with templates, E-mail, Predictive text input, picture phonebook, organizer, USB and IR connectivity, WAP 2.0 and GPRS are some of its additional features. It offers a talk time up to 7 hrs and around 300 hours of standby time. Overall, the K300i is an inexpensive, classy, stylish, all-rounder handset, with sleek dimensions and smart looks and a perfect buy option for one looking for a cam phone under 7K.

Sony Ericsson K508i - Rs 8,200
K508i is a dual front mobile with a fun-packed feature set. Have pictures of your friends appear onscreen when they call. The K508i 65k 1.9 inch color display supports animated wallpapers and desktop icons. Its 640 x 480 VGA camera lets you record videos and capture images at a single touch. K508i also plays mp3 audio. However, its built-in 12 MB memory limits the fun right there, but that doesn't apply to the number of wallpapers and ring tones. It's a good tri-band phone that sports a lot of useful features. The full fledged organizer is a good tool to maintain your daily schedule. It also features MMS, melody composer/MIDI (Music DJ), Mp3/Media player, picture effects and more. K508i is a good gaming and imaging phone that can run as long as 7 hrs at a stretch and 300hrs on standby mode, which is quite impressive. But the lack of radio and memory limits this phone to a certain extent. Other than that, it's a great phone for mobile phone gamers, and camera users. This phone is small and compact in design with a great setup wizard to start with.

Sony Ericsson K700i - Rs 10,300
K700i is a compact and lightweight phone equipped with a good quality 640 by 480 VGA camera with flash, that has adjustable brightness and picture-quality settings along with a 4X zoom support. An unexpected bonus is the panorama option, which takes three pictures next to each other. The other striking features are its large high-quality 65K color display, 41 MB memory, 510-contact phone book, melody composer/MIDI (Music DJ), Mp3/Media player, a built-in FM Radio, embedded and downloadable Java games and almost all other basic features as found in the K300i. The organizer feature includes a calendar, a task list, a notepad, a voice recorder, an alarm clock, a timer, a stopwatch, a calculator, and a secured notepad for storing passwords. But the K700i doesn't stop there. You also get voice dialing, Bluetooth, an infrared port, MMS, a WAP 2.0 wireless Web browser, and USB cable support. The speakerphone is another nice addition to it. What more? It comes with an outstanding battery life for 8 hrs of non-stop talk time and a stand-by time of 300hrs. In short, the K700i is a device with dual fronts. It is as much a camera as it is a phone; or to rephrase - as much a phone as it is a camera. A complete value for money product.
