If you've struggled trying to trace the outlines of an image or felt a bit gruesome with the airbrush and retouching features or might have even thought of having personalized signed documents and emails, then you're about to enter a new dimension of pinpoint control and pressure sensitivity, which will bring in a revolution in your desktop usage and functionality. Wacom PenPartner has made this technology available with their launch of pinpointing devices and the one we have here for review is the PenPartner.

Overview
Wacom's PenPartner is a small pen tablet that connects to your PC via USB. The tablet has a silver-grey finish, a pen tray at the top and a flip-up transparent overlay, giving it a very modern, trendy and smart look. It's dimensions are as sleek as 14.7 cm x 16 cm x 1.2 cm and it doesn't weigh more than 168 grams. The PenPartner comes with a drawing area which is around 8 cm by 6 cm and the stylus itself weighs not more than 10gm. The package consists of the PenPartner tablet, the PenPartner stylus, a CD containing drivers and the JustWrite Office 4.0 software along with a quick start guide (manual).
Wacom PenPartner is an effective and a comfortable solution for managers, office staff and home users looking to scribble down stuff. With the supplied JustWrite office software, it lets you hand-write notes in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) or even scrawl over documents with a feel and ease similar to that of writing on a normal paper. It also lets you personalize your emails by signing them, as you would on a standard letter. Making annotations, inserting notes, equations and small drawings into your running PowerPoint presentation is made easily possible with this PenPartner.
Besides that, it is also a powerful tool for graphic designers. This tablet recognizes upto 512 levels of pressure in supported applications, making it remarkably accurate in drawing or painting. It adds to precision when you need to do some touching up on your existing pictures, which is not as easy with a normal mouse. The most impressive feature is its flip-up transparent overlay, which allows you to trace over a sheet of paper placed underneath. If you use graphic applications/programs a lot, then this is an excellent alternative for your mouse and it is much more precise.
