APC launches Power Inverter

American Power Conversion (APC), power solutions manufacturer, has announced the launch of its 800 VA Power Inverter.
The inverter can power lights, fans, television, music systems, home theatre systems or other electronic equipment. It is currently available as an 800 VA model.
It has pure sine wave technology to help ensure zero humming of lights and to prevent overheating of fans in effect extending life of the equipment. The inverter claims complete safety with child/shock proof features. It comes with a 2-year comprehensive warranty covering the inverter and battery. It is liable to 6 free preventive maintenance check ups during the warranty period and the package includes a safety kit.
"Power cuts have come to be a part and parcel of our daily lives. In fact most of us today have to plan our day-to-day activities, both personal and professional taking into account the power cuts. The APC Power Inverter is our latest offering which will help provide our customers freedom from power cuts", said Pankaj Sharma, Country General Manager, APC (India).
According to APC, research shows that Delhi and Bangalore face the highest amount of power cuts. Therefore the company is launching the Power Inverter in these two cities to begin with and will be making it available across India in the near future.
The APC Power Inverter will cost Rs. 14, 630 and those with tubular batteries will cost Rs. 16, 478. The Inverters will be available through a wide distribution of Inverter dealers across the two cities.
