City of Spiders!
The guys at Treyarch have upped the ante since the first game and have given you the whole of New York for your personal free roaming pleasure. That's right, as soon as you boot up the game, you can swing, jump, run, dash, or crawl across the entire city. You can go on top of the Empire State building and take a look at the entire city below you; you can swing over rush hour traffic on the Brooklyn Bridge, hell you can even revolve around trees using your spider-web at Central Park.

In the first game, you could swing onto any area, but you couldn't really go down to the streets without turning to spider-splat. Well, not anymore, you can go down to the streets, run across the whole city if you wish (but why on earth would you do that?), or even bump into strangers and hear them grumble about superheroes. You can even get hit by a runaway car and lose some major energy if you want, but most cars will make it a point to stop for you and honk until you get out of the way.

The best part about free-roaming the city is that there's absolutely no load time for anything. You can literally swing from one end of the city to the other without any slowdown or loading screens. There's nothing except people yelling for help to interrupt your web-slinging rush.
