Who am I?
You sure you wanna know?
If somebody told you I was just another Grand Theft Auto Clone…
… Somebody Lied.
I'm Spider-Man!
With the Spider-Man 2 movie finally released, the merchandising bandwagon has once again been set to roll and Marvel is singing songs of joys and happiness on its way to the bank. Love it or hate it, Spider-Man has become a household name after the colossal success of the movie. And with something so successful in the entertainment industry, there's bound to be merchandising on every level, in this case we're talking about video games.

The first Spider-Man movie game was not at all bad for first try. The visuals were gorgeous for its time, the gameplay had a lot of good things going for it; but there was still so much missing. You had Spider-man at your disposal, but could you really control him the way you wanted to? Apparently Treyarch was paying attention to what the gamers from around the world had to say, which is quite evident from the new game.

Ever since they announced the basic premise of the second Spider-man movie game, it has constantly been compared to the Grand Theft Auto games. While we wouldn't call all those comparisons totally unfounded (in fact we did a few ourselves in the previews of this game), as the game does feature GTA III style free roaming missions. That said, Spider-Man has enough innovation and freshness to make its own mark.
