Bhatia's Telixo, is a new technology that allows users of wireless and wireline telephones to have instant access to their personal information such as phone book, address book, calendar and to-do lists, via the phone, but still independent of it.
Spice Telecom has tied up with Bhatia, to offer its subscribers instant access to such information on the phone.
Sean Dexter, managing director, Spice Telecom, said, "Telixo will not only serve as a virtual PDA on any phone but also act as an instant personal assistant for users."
"Telixo is a very exciting new product that will be of great value to businessmen, in organizing their working day. Telixo will provide our subscribers information anytime, anywhere and thereby help to streamline their business needs," said Dexter.
According to Dexter, the service is being offered free, for the next three months. He maintains, that access and information is secure and can be edited or updated by the user.
Bhatia said, "Telixo is built on an extensible platform that would enable users to upload and get access to all their data, through Voice along with SMS, thus dramatically enhancing the capability of the mobile phone."
The key benefit of Telixo is that it ensures that no vital information is lost, even if the mobile phone is lost.
Bhatia plans on offering Telixo through other mobile service providers in India, the Asia-Pacific region and the European markets, where SMS and text usage is high.
Users can register on www.telixo.com to access Telixo.
