    Nokia Belle Firmware Is Ready For A Rollout

Recently, we have been seeing many N8's running the leaked Symbian Belle firmware. Finally, Nokia has made an official announcement about Belle's availability on existing Symbian smartphones. Interestingly, the update will now be called Nokia Belle instead of Symbian Belle. According to the manufacturer, older phones such as the N8, E7, E6, X7, C6-01, and C7 will receive OTA (Over The Air) update starting from February, 2012. Additionally, Nokia has already started shipping the N8, C7, and C6-01 with the new firmware.

Nokia has added that the Belle UI, launched with Nokia 701, 700, and 603 phones, has received positive feedback from the users. This is an official image of Nokia N8 running the Belle UI. You can also see an NFC toggle on the screen, which is weird since the N8 doesn't have an NFC chip.
