Memory manufacturer Transcend has also shifted to festival celebration mode with several other companies doing the same. The company has launched a special promotion for its customers up to 31 October 2011, where consumers can upload their information and take part in Transcend's Diwali Event. To be eligible, you have to purchase any Transcend product.

The contest has three individual activities, each coming with different lucky draw and prizes. The first activity to win the contest involves buying a Transcend product, going to the aforementioned website, entering your name, address, serial number, and part number. Here you stand a chance to win a one grand prize of a Hero Hunk motorbike, two second prizes of 1 TB StoreJet 25H3P external hard drives, and ten third prizes of 4 GB MP330 digital music players. The second activity involves sending an eCard from the website to stand a chance to win 10 4 GB JetFlash V90C USB flash drives, while the third activity is to Like the company's Facebook page to win ten 4 GB SDHC Class 4 memory cards.
