Nokia
has announced three smartphones based on its latest Symbian Belle mobile OS. Apart from incorporating the Belle update, these devices also mark the introduction of the 1 GHz CPU in Symbian devices. The new entrants are Nokia 701, 700, and 600, which follow the company's new naming convention.

Here are the highlights of the Belle update:

Free-form, resizable, and live widgets: Widgets such as the clock, email, music player, and calendar have been redesigned. They come in five different sizes now. The update debuts toggle widgets for tasks such as toggling Bluetooth on \ off and changing profiles.

More homescreens: The maximum number of homescreens has risen from three to six.

Fresh new look: The navigation and options bar now sports a new look, similar to that seen on the N9.

Improved status bar: The status bar sports a pull-down notification tab that gives access to common settings and notification regarding incoming messages, missed calls, and more.

NFC integration: With Symbian Belle, NFC (Near-Field Communications) is now deeply integrated into the operating system, which enables sharing files by simply tapping your finger.

Here's more information on the newly launched mobile phones:

Nokia 700: The Nokia 700, measures 4.3" (l) x 2" (w) x 0.4" (d) and weighs 96 grammes. It's sports a 1 GHz processor, 3.2" AMOLED screen, 5 MP camera with an LED flash, and MicroSD card slot (up to 32GB). The device also has a NFC chip, which can couple with Nokia's NFC-enabled accessories.

Nokia 701: This device is based on C7's design, and features a 3.5" IPS LCD display with ClearBlack technology. Other specs include a 1 GHz CPU, 8 MP camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, 8 GB internal storage, and support for microSD card. The device measures 4.6" (l) x 2.2" (w) x 0.4" (d) and weighs in at 131 grammes.

Nokia 600: The Nokia 600 includes a 1 GHz CPU, 3.2" touchscreen, and NFC capabilities. This music-centric handset boasts of powerful loudspeakers. It also has a 5 MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, FM transmitter, 3.5 mm jack, and microSD card support up to 32 GB.

These handsets are expected to launch within a month or two, with the Nokia 600 costing 180 euros (approx Rs 11,900), the Nokia 700 set at 270 euros (approx Rs 17,800), and the Nokia 701 priced at 290 euros (approx Rs 19,200).

All model`s color and looks are soo lame. Nokia u r back many yrs than innovating something new. This is the high time u to Improve.
