Samsung has added four new warriors to its army of 'droids. This includes Galaxy W, Galaxy M Pro, Galaxy Y, and Galaxy Y Pro.
The Galaxy W is a top tier phone, which is evident with its 1.4 GHz CPU. This Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) device sports a 3.7" touchscreen sporting pixel dimensions of 800x480. Other specs include a 5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, and a 1500 mAh battery.
The Galaxy M Pro is 9.97 mm thick mid-tier device. It features a 2.66" touchscreen and a QWERTY keypad with optical trackpad. The phone boasts a 1 GHz processor and runs on Gingerbread. Furthermore, the device has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a front VGA camera, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, and a 1350 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Y is an entry-level candybar device with a 3" touchscreen. It sports 832 MHz processor, 2 MP camera, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, and 1200mAh battery. This phone also runs on Gingerbread.
Finally, Galaxy Y Pro is yet another entry-level phone. Although Samsung hasn't shed much light on it, spec-wise it is expected to be similar to the Galaxy Y. Additionally, the phone will sport a QWERTY keypad. These new Galaxy smartphones are expected to be showcased at IFA next week.
