    PS3 Prices To Drop By 15% In India

If you recently bought a PS3, read this and weep. Close on the heels of the international PS3 price cut, Sony PlayStation India has announced a drop in the Indian prices as well. The PS3 320 GB Move bundle, which retailed for Rs 23,500, has been slashed down to Rs 20,000. That was formerly the price of the 160 GB PS3, which will now be sold for Rs 17,000. In all, that's a discount of Rs 3500 for the 320 GB Move bundle and Rs 3000 for the 160 GB version.

However, the PlayStation India page still reflects the old prices. PlayStation India's representative has informed us that these price cuts will be applicable from the month of September. Moreover, there's no mention of any price change in the plain vanilla 320 GB PS3 (Rs 22,500), but the rep assured a revert with the price update (if any) by next week. Therefore, keep checking this space for updates.

Article mentions that prices are applicable from September. Not correct. New prices available from 20-08-2011, I personally checked this in Sony center, Croma, Ezone (all bangalore ). Flipkart offered it on 19th with GTA-4 Full edition thrown in as a freebie (320gb move bundle). Ps3 finally we meet :) .
