Barely a week after the launch of the FinePix F500EXR, Fujifilm has launched a higher version of the camera - FinePix F600EXR, sporting advanced photography features such as RAW format, high speed continuous  shooting mode at 8 fps, and GPS.

Fujifilm touts this model as "the ultimate travel companion", thanks to the in-built GPS, which allows geotagging, in addition to the Landmark Navigator to pinpoint locations. The inclusion of RAW format support promises to finally bring DSLR-like image quality within your reach without having to break the bank. Being a tweaked-up version and successor to the F550EXR, it not only retains the form factor and choice of body colours of its predecessor, but also most of its other features such as a 16 MP EXR CMOS sensor, 15x optical zoom with CMOS Shift Image Stabilisation, 3.0" LCD viewfinder, 1080p movie recording with stereo sound, and all the EXR shooting modes.

Fujifilm really need to focus on quality instead quantity. Quality of picture in picture for the higher pixel cam from fuji sucks big time. For example : HS20 is great in almost every features and design, but the output image quality is awfully disappointed. An older model S200EXR could produce better images simply beat this model to the ground. I hope Fuji should focus on smoothness operation and image quality on the next HS30 else will only ruin it's reputation make the company's entire camera product lines look bad. Tie to put a bigger EXR CCD/CMOS chip in there to make it a normal DSLR shame with affordable cost.
