BlackBerry Mobile Conferencing App Available

Canadian smartphone maker Research In Motion has announced the availability for download of a new BlackBerry Mobile Conferencing app. While it's currently available only for customers in North America, it is expected to be available worldwide soon.
The BlackBerry has long been preferred by business professionals, and it was high time that an app of this type was made available. Users can now conveniently join and schedule conference calls right from their BlackBerry smartphone. Users can easily join the conference call at just the click of a Join Now button. Scheduling conference calls is also simplified into a two-step process using the BlackBerry Calendar, and a user's conference call profile. The app also includes an optimal conference call number selection.
Tom Goguen, Vice President, Colloboration and Social Networking at Research In Motion said, "With BlackBerry Mobile Conferencing, making conference calls has never been easier. Converting multiple steps and hard to remember codes into a simple 'Join Now' button is another great example of how BlackBerry smartphones enhance communication and productivity".
The BlackBerry Mobile Conferencing app requires BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 or higher, and can be downloaded for free from the BlackBerry App World.
