Want to take your broadband experience on the move and spread it across all of your internet enabled wireless devices? Asus has launched WL-330N3G wireless router that acts as a mobile wireless router, as a repeater to extend the range of your existing wireless router, as an Ethernet adapter to bring net connectivity between a host device that lacks an Ethernet port and devices like game consoles, as an access point in conjunction with modems, and in conjunction with a 3G device with an USB adapter to enable 3G sharing mode.

Asus claims a 150Mbps throughput and a network detection enabled plug-and-play connectivity that makes it easy to share and host networks. The WL-330N3G is extremely compact with a business card sized footprint. The only buttons and connections on the compact router are the power port, USB port, reset button, and a 10/100 Ethernet connection for hooking up with modems, other routers and various Ethernet-enabled devices. The router retails for Rs. 4,500 and is backed by a warranty of 3 years.

From what I understood regarding its use in your existing home wireless network: 1) it cant act as a repeater extending the network coverage of your existing wireless network. This allow you to place your wireless devices in places you couldn't before because of poor coverage. 2) it can act as bridge meaning devices which cant connect on wireless on their own can connect through it if they have a ethernet port

not sure about the second point i mentioned. Their description is confusing. It best to check the product website for this info and decide.
