When we reviewed the original Samsung Wave, we were greatly impressed by the overall performance of the phone. But what we really liked about that phone was that despite the laundry list of features that it had, it was quite affordable. Due to shortage of its Super AMOLED displays, Samsung had to discontinue that phone but since it was its flagship bada handset, it couldn't just let it go. So, in its place, comes the new Samsung S8530 Wave II.

The new phone brings some notable changes. First of all, the display is now bigger and instead of Super AMOLED, Samsung is now using the Super LCD. The new phone also runs on bada 1.2, which brings about some useful changes. The new Wave II is also a bit cheaper, which makes it even better value. Read on for the full review of this handset.

I bought samsung wave 2 from big c hyderabad, its very wrost phone.i have lot expecataions abt this phone.but its very very wrost phone.after a week battery is gone.even if not working also its getting over heat.batter back up hardly 12 hrs( if u dnt use) if u use ,back up is 6 hrs only.Phone got stuck whole opening any application. clarity wise its super phone.hd clarity.only one gud quality in this phone.evenn blue tooth is not supporting for music.. Over all this is wrost phone.same feauers having 7k samsung phone.the one and only + point ios clarity.. plz plz plz plz dnt go for this phone..plz

Bought Samsung wave 2 before 3 months, in the intial stage it was very good with WIFI and other features, but suddenly one day MIKE was not working and the recipient was unable to hear my voice. I gave the phone in Mylapore Samsung service center and after 1 week collected the same. After reaching home i found that mobile is not getting charged and at the end of the day mobile switched off..i was very much frustated to buy such a useless phone paying huge amount. Till now i dint receive the mobile and its waste of money and time.

hello Imran i'm truly convinced that samsung wave 2 is a total waste of money and time. i'm facing so many problem with this phone. my phone battery is getting charge by itself and usb connetivity symbol is showing next to network symbol even i haven't plugged any thing...

its a good cell phone for its looks and overall features but i am facing problems with navigation and Google maps and downloading a few other applications.

Wave 2 is very bad in using. when i add my gmail account every time my phone is restarted. when i insert the 4GB and above memory card my phone is not started. when we used two application same time phone will hang. Please avoid this phone....

Excellent design and good look, superb quality display, simple, easy to use interface, great audio quality, good camera performance, well priced. But low in catching signals and battery back up is not as specified. Word and Excel, Adobe could have activated along with dictionary
