Back in January, we reported that Angry Birds Rio game was expected to be released before the upcoming movie Rio. In the game, the birds are kidnapped and taken away to the city of Rio de Janeiro. The new Angry Birds Rio game is now available for Apple Mac App Store, iOS App Store and Google Android platforms via Amazon's Android App Store.



In the game, the Angry Birds manage to escape from their captors and then try to save their two rare Macaw friends - Blu and Jewel. Check out the new features in this new Game.

Rovio Mobile has paired the physics-based gameplay of the original game with unique twists based on the film - Rio. The company will release more episodes for the game throughout this year. At this moment, this game is available only in US and other selected regions where Android Market and iOS App Store exists. If it's not available yet then it may take couple of weeks to be available.

Initially, I thought it might be another Angry Birds game but the RIO game is really awesome. New characters add to the fun. Loved it. Waiting for new episodes.

Did he write that it is available in India for download? I couldn't find it anywhere. I dont understand why idiots like you keep sulking about unavailability and not just read the information passed on.

Thanks for the info man. I downloaded it from the appstore and played it. The new look and feel is awesome. But only two sections are unlocked as you have mentioned,:(.
