Separate update for early 2011 MacBook Pro models with Thunderbolt Port
Apple has released new Mac OS X 10.6.7 update for the Mac systems running Mac OS X Snow Leopard. This update improves reliability on Back to My Mac feature and brings a number of other fixes. There's also a separate update that fixes graphics and FaceTime issues for 2011 MacBook Pros with Thunderbolt port. Apple has also fixed some Mac App Store bugs with this update.
The new Mac OS X 10.6.7 update is meant for Apple computers that run Mac OS X 10.6.6 versions. This means if you are running older version of the Mac OS X operating system, then you will have to update it. This new step-up update brings the following changes to the Mac OS X Snow Leopard:
- Improves the reliability of Back to My Mac - Resolves an issue when transferring files to certain SMB servers - Addresses various minor Mac App Store bugs
All Mac systems will get the above mentioned fixes and hence will give a better performance than before.
Apple has rolled out a separate release for the early 2011 MacBook Pro models that come with HD web camera and Thunderbolt port. Following are the two additional changes:
- Addresses minor FaceTime performance issues - Improve graphics stability and external display compatibility
Mac OS X Snow Leopard running systems will get the new Mac OS X 10.6.7 update via Software Update feature. Alternatively, they can download the respective update file from below:
