D-Link has introduced a new 4 Port USB 2.0 Pocket Hub - D-Link DUB-1040. This new 4 Port USB Pocket hub provides additional USB 2.0 ports for notebooks and computers. Hence, one can connect more USB devices like as digital cameras, hard drives, mice, keyboards, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.

The new D-Link DUB-1040 Pocket Hub is small enough to be carried anywhere. More importantly, it offers the enhanced USB 2.0 performance with transfer speeds of up to 480Mbps. It's also backward compatible with USB 1.1 devices. Offering seamless connection, there are no power switches or buttons on this Pocket Hub.

Designed for PC and Mac notebook users, DUB-1040 provides a simple, cost-effective USB connectivity and ultimately portable solution. For the PC platform, it supports Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 - that's quite a long list. Apple Macs running Mac OS 8.6 to 9.0 and Mac OS X 10.2 or higher can make use of this Pocket Hub.



Highlights of the D-Link DUB-1040 Pocket Hub are:
- 4 external auto speed selectable USB Type A downstream ports.
