It is a tethered jailbreak so it requires a Windows PC every time you wish to reboot your device
Apple released the iOS 4.3 update for the recent iOS devices on March 10 and within a week, we have a jailbreak for the update. The new version of sn0wbreeze 2.3 beta 1 tool created by iH8sn0w, an iOS platform jailbreak developer, will let users jailbreak their iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 4th gen and iPad. All these iOS devices can be jailbroken only on the Windows platform and that leaves out Mac users. What is interesting is that the jailbreak developer has promised to bring multi-touch gestures to these iOS devices.
Apple's iOS platform developers have patched several exploits previously used for developing a jailbreak for the latest software update. Recently, the iPhone Dev team member comex managed to jailbreak a white iPad 2. Following the league, iH8sn0w released the sn0wbreeze 2.3 beta 1 for Windows platform to jailbreak the iOS devices with iOS 4.3 update.
As we mentioned earlier, Apple iOS 4.3 update drops support for iPhone 3G and iPod touch second generation. Do remember that the sn0wbreeze 2.3 beta 1 just jailbreaks your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPad with 3G. If you wish to use these devices with any SIM then you better wait for the unlock to be released.
The developer iH8Sn0w stated in the demonstration video that the sn0wbreeze 2.3 beta 2 will bring multi-touch gestures for the iPhone 4 and fourth generation iPod touch as well.
I did check it out. Just because it is on Flipkart doesnt mean we are going to write about it. We've slipped over these "coming soon" and "pre-orders". We prefer to hear from the companies officially and then write about it. Thanks.
