    BenQ Launches 6 Projectors with 3D Projection

BenQ has released six projectors MX660, MS614, MS510, MX511, MX613ST and MS612ST catering for professional, educational users with higher-end models also capable of 3D home entertainment. These projectors incorporate wired and optional wireless networking, HDMI and USB inputs connectivity and feature high contrast (3000:1 to 5000:1) and up to 6000 hours of lamp life. The models also include light output range from 2500 to 3200 ANSI lumens to handle a wide variety of room sizes and lighting conditions.

The MX660 features XGA resolution at a brightness of 3200 ANSI lumens and contrast ratio of 5000:1. It offers connectivity options spanning USB Display and Wireless Display, and includes USB Reader, PC-less presentation and 3D Ready projection for added convenience.



MS614 projector has SVGA resolution, a brightness of 2700 ANSI lumens and 5000:1 contrast ratio. It also offers 3D projection technology. Just like the MX600, this projector also includes USB Display, Wireless Display and USB Reader options.

MS510 and MX511 are best suited for small to medium spaces. MS510 offers a contrast ratio of 4000:1 with SVGA resolution, while the MX511 projector offers contrast ratio of 3000:1 with XGA resolution. Both projectors have a brightness of 2700 ANSI lumens.

MS612ST and MX613ST have short throw lenses that allow a larger image projection size at shorter distances. These projectors are also capable of 3D home entertainment. They incorporate aspheric lens design, which allows 55-inch image size at a projection distance of 1 meter. MS612ST and MX613ST sport a 5000:1 contrast ratio and DLP Link 3D technology. MS612ST also packs in NVIDIA 3D Vision dual 3D set-up, 2500 ANSI Lumen at SVGA Resolution. MX613ST adds 2800 ANSI Lumens and an XGA resolution to the same set of features.

These projectors are priced between Rs. 34,000 and Rs. 50,000 and are available in the market now.

When it comes to projectors I am a big fan of Epson products. Hope they also come out with these 3D projectors.

The projector arrived , comes with High contrast 5000:1 and DLP technology, which Epson does not have,

We still do not have projectors that provide Blue Ray like clarity and colour reproduction.
