Loads of work required to get several features working on the Nook Color
Google had announced the Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet only operating system at the Consumer Electronics Show 2011. In less than a month, the Honeycomb was ported on Barnes & Nobles' Nook Color ebook reader by XDA Developer Forum member - Honeynook.

A couple of hours after that, other folks downloaded the code Honeycook used to port the Honeycomb on Nook Color and added graphic acceleration to the port. This clearly shows how flexible Android 3.0 Honeycomb is when it is to be installed on tablet level hardware. Check the video of Nook Color with Graphics Acceleration below:
In the coming months, we'll get to see more Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets and even ports just like these, as the Honeycomb is meant for tablets. The fun has just begun.
