It is common practices for N-series routers to come equipped with better range and therefore become a necessity for larger homes. Linksys E4200 router, slated to release in a few months, features a whopping six antennas (internal and external) to support the largest houses and has dual-band grunt to provide 300Mbps throughput at 2.4GHz or 450Mbps at 5GHz.
The router features 4 gigabit Ethernet ports and a sleek finish that looks quite classy from the preview images. The router will retail for $180 (Rs. 8,000 approx.), when it releases. Although, it is common sense that the Indian prices will be much more inflated, thanks to massive customs and excise duties.
