Is expected to be released along side 3G supporting PlayBook in second quarter of this year
While Google Android 3.0 tablets continue to emerge and rumors of Apple iPad 2 still afloat, Research in Motion has announced its own tablet, the 4G PlayBook. While the RIM PlayBook is still to see the light of day, the company has announced PlayBook 4G with Sprint Nextel in the second quarter of this year. So by the second quarter US citizens will not only see 4G LTE smartphones but also tablets.
The arrival of Android 3.0 Honeycomb based tablets will nudge the PlayBook running BlackBerry OS aside since it is expected to be available from the second quarter of this year.
With Sprint's 4G Network offering faster download speeds, RIM's 4G Playbook will have practically the same hardware as that of 3G supporting PlayBook.
