    Promises smoother panning and zooming on Android OS based tablets

After releasing Opera Mini and Opera Mobile, the web browser developing corporation Opera will demonstrate a new Opera for Tablets at the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 on January 6 in Las Vegas, US. Opera hasn't divulged any details on what's so special about this Tablet specific version. We already have Opera Mobile working flawlessly on the tablets.

All we have at this moment is a preview video of Opera for Tablets. However in the video, we see the Opera executive starting Opera Mobile that loads in less than a second. Apparently, the Opera for tablet versions would be first released for Android OS based tablets as per the Opera executive. The video shows smooth panning and smooth zooming functions on the Galaxy Tab tablet. Watch the first sneak preview video of Opera for tablets below.




What would you expect to see next - Chrome or Firefox for Tablets? Well, we already have mobile Safari working smoothly on the iPad. But that's just one browser limited to just one tablet.
