Apple's New iPod Touch, Shuffle, Nano in India

The new Apple iPod line up launched in September 2010 will now be available in India within a week or two. At the festive occasion of Diwali, Indians can check out and buy the latest generation new iPod shuffle, iPod nano and iPod touch models.
New fourth generation iPod shuffle is a silent acceptance of mistake where Apple went wrong with the third generation iPod shuffle. The fourth generation iPod shuffle comes in an anodized aluminium body casing with a clip on its back. Apple boasted of making third generation iPod shuffle smaller than an AA sized battery but faced issues related to the headphones that controlled the iPod shuffle. So this time fourth generation iPod shuffle brings the round control buttons back.
However, the new iPod shuffle retains the VoiceOver control feature that supports 25 languages. The new iPod shuffle would be available in five different colors at a suggested retail price of Rs. 3,200 (including VAT).
While everyone's finger tips were itchy, Apple provided them with a new small toy - iPod nano that comes with a multi-touch interface and built-in FM radio. What more would you want from such a small player? You make and edit playlists, use Live Pause for FM radio and flaunt its small compact size. Unfortunately, the video camera option introduced in the previous generation iPod nano has been pulled back.
The new iPod nano would be available in silver, graphite, blue, green, orange and pink colors at a suggested retail price of Rs. 10,700 for the 8GB model and Rs. 12,700 for the 16GB model.
Finally, the new fourth iPod touch that is almost the new iPhone 4 sans calling functionality will also be available from next week onwards. The iPod touch fourth generation incorporates Apple A4 system on chip that has been used in iPhone 4 and iPad. Just like iPhone 4, this iPod touch has a 3.5-inch Retina display that supports 960x640 pixel resolution that makes text, images and video appear sharper as well as crisper. You can record HD video with the camera at its rear and perform video calls over Wi-Fi with front facing VGA camera. And one more thing, you can't transfer files via Bluetooth on this iPod touch.
