Lenovo Unveils IdeaPad Z Series Laptops in India

The 14-inch IdeaPad Z460 and the 15-inch IdeaPad Z560 arrive

Lenovo has added new IdeaPad Z series to its IdeaPad family of laptops in India which consists of the 14-inch IdeaPad Z460 and the 15-inch IdeaPad Z560. Clad in a trendy and stylish chassis, these mainstream laptops offer multiple ports and multimedia applications. For giving a power efficient performance, these IdeaPad Z series laptops will incorporate Intel Core 2010 series processors.

Both laptops have a metallic finish near the palmrest. Superior ergonomic comfort is promised by the Chiclet style keyboard. The 14-inch IdeaPad Z460 will offer option to choose between Intel Core i3-350M and Core i3-370M processors. Adding 6 cell battery, the IdeaPad Z460 basic model will come with 2GB DDR3 memory and 320GB HDD. The 14-inch LED Glare display will support 1366x768 pixel resolution which is good enough to watch 720p HD video content.

The 15-inch LED Glare display (1366x768) bearing IdeaPadZ560 is also good for enjoying 720p HD movies. The IdeaPad Z560 will also offer option to go for Intel Core i5-460 processor if you really need that much power.

Both laptops will have a One-Key-Theater to customize display and sound for enjoying enhanced movie experience with Dolby Advanced Audio. Lenovo has added HDMI and E-SATA ports for appropriate connections. Of course you'll get to see Lenovo Veriface Face recognition technology, OneKey Rescue System an easy-to-use system to help you detect and remove viruses, restore Windows system and recover files.

Both these laptops are available at all leading Lenovo retail outlets and multi brand digital lifestyle retail chains like Croma, eZone etc. at a price ranging from Rs. 34,000 to Rs. 46,000.
