    MobiBLU S1 MP3 Player

An inexpensive player that offers good audio quality

Compact size, lightweight, sound doesn't crack at high volumes, flexible memory support, doubles up as a micro-SD card reader, good pricing

Can't resume songs after turning the player on/off, track resets to first song after turning the player off, no shuffle function

It's been more than a year since we've heard anything from mobiBLU but today we have their new tiny little MP3 player called S1. This thumb-sized player may seem like any ordinary MP3 player but what makes it special is that it also doubles as a micro-SD card reader. This means you can use any micro-SD card up to 32GB, which essentially becomes the internal storage for your MP3s. That's right; the S1 doesn't have any internal storage of its own, which is great, since you can expand the size as per your need. But before we get too excited, let's remember that it's primarily an MP3 player, so mustn't fall short in that department.

Here's an overview of the main features and specifications. The S1 will read MP3s and WMA files only. The built-in Li-Polymer battery is said to provide up to 3Hrs playback, which we'll verify a bit later. The S1 is really light and very easy to get lost, so you might want to be careful with it.

Bundle

  • Instruction leaflet
  • Earphones
The packaging also has a little groove in the plastic for a micro-SD card even though nothing comes with the bundle.

Only 2 hours of playback ? Are you sure? I dont think anyone would want an mp3 player that can give only two hours of playback. Its utterly useless bro !!

YEah, Dat's right... 2 HOURS??? Even 3 Hours of playback is pathetic. I have a Sony MP3 player and it lasts almost a Day on moderate volume and at least a continuous 6 hours on high volume as well.
