    Galaxy GTS 450 GC Version

A good balance between price and performance

Aggressive pricing, runs cool and silent, great performance, nifty iPhone utility, good overclocker, CUDA and PhysX support, HDMI 1.4 ready

    Might not be easily available

Surprise, surprise! Galaxy dropped their GTS 450 with us the other day and we were very excited to review it. We all know from past experience that Galaxy loves to design their own cards and make improvements where necessary. The best part is that you get all this at a very aggressive price, which makes it an even sweeter deal.

As always there are two versions of the card- GC Version, which is mildly overclocked, and a Super OC version, which is overclocked to the max. We have the former card for review today and even though it's priced like the standard edition GTS 450, the core has been overclocked to a healthy 825MHz and the memory has also received a slight bump to 3696MHz (effective speed). The rest of the specifications remain pretty much the same as you can see in the table below.

Bundle

  • Instruction leaflet
  • Driver CD
  • 6-pin to Molex power adapter
  • CUDA demo disc
