    Panasonic TH-L42D25D LED LCD TV

Delivers amazing picture quality but falls short in some other areas

Good picture quality, SD card slot, supports DivX HD, great design, low power consumption, 3D Comb actually improves SD content, DLNA, Internet streaming apps

No support for NTFS filesystem, can't decode H.264 video, noise reduction is not the best, a bit expensive

Panasonic's latest arrival - the L42D25D full-HD LED LCD TV is with us, and this new 'D' series VIERA TV sports a completely different design and aesthetics as compared to the other models in their lineup. Panasonic hasn't joined the 'slimmest TV in the world' race that LG, Sony and Samsung are in but this TV is fairly slim nonetheless.

The D25D is available in two sizes; 32" and 42" and we have the latter in our labs. The panel boasts of IPS technology, 100Hz Motion Picture Pro, accepts SD cards including SDXC/SDHC and two USB ports that support AVCHD, DivX HD along with regular DivX files. The features seem really solid for an LED TV and should be able to give good competition to other brands. Panasonic also packs in some of their proprietary features like 3D Comb (which actually works well for cable TV), Resolution Enhancer, 100Hz Motion Pro. Let's see how it performs in our tests.
