But is this good enough to match the likes of Android and iOS?
Nokia, which has opted not to join the Android bandwagon until now, seems to be trying its best to get back at its detractors with its new upcoming OSes
With Symbian^3 not really impressing most people, the company is left with only two options - the upcoming Symbian^4 and MeeGo OSes, both of which are currently under development.
MeeGo, which seems to be more "upmarket" of the two, has been seeing constant developments on the UI front. The under development MeeGo has a blog of its own where its developers have been posting constant updates to its UI over the course of the past few months.
The latest set of images shows the lock screen, the menu structure, multitasking and theme-related bits.
We leave it to you to decide if MeeGo, at least in its current avatar, will become a cause of headache for the likes of Android or iOS.
Nokia is like Rajesh Khanna -a suerstar in its heydays, but an unknown figure now drawing hardly the response that it used to. Just as Amitabh Bachhan changed the rules of the game, so too has Android.
Frankly, the renderings are not impressive. If you want to cause problems for current market leaders, you have to do something extraordinary, something that would make people go WOW! This sadly is nowhere near that.
nokia has finished losing market share all over the world since android arrived, they are finished bcoz they are launching similar phones with different name like siblings.
nokia has finished losing market share all over the world since android arrived, they are finished bcoz keep similar phones with different name like siblings.
nope dosent impress i think its evident nokia is actually in very deep trouble all they want is market share and so they are getting it by selling cheap phones i bet a meego handset will be priced at a premium and wont be worth it in the likes of android and ios plus motorola is releasing a slew of mass market solutions sporting android 2.2 so is samsung i think its just a matter time when nokia will give up
Meego looks good. Nokia + Intel combo need to realise that they need to be upto speed cuz Android is going way too fast ... and being liked by the users.
