Sports a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen and Easy Share button to share full HD videos online
Kodak has introduced new PLAYTOUCH digital video camera that is capable of sharing full HD videos. The Easy Share button on the PLAYTOUCH digital video camcorder makes it easy to upload the video content to social networking sites such as YouTube and Facebook plus email them. The built-in USB arm makes it easily attachable to computer or laptop for transferring multimedia.
New PLAYTOUCH will complement the existing PLAYSPORT pocket camcorder and is a smart extension to Kodak's current best Zi8 camcorder. New PLAYTOUCH pocket camcorder has a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen LCD to view videos and photos in landscape mode. This pocket camera has built-in image stabilization feature for capturing sharper videos, smart face tracking technology, LCD glare shield and external microphone jack.
Capable of taking 5 megapixel still HD cameras, the Easy Share button on the camera also allows sharing the video on full 1080p HD resolution. The on-camera editing features can be quite handy to use over the 3-inch touchscreen. The built-in USB arm will allow you to charge the camera, transfer and sharing multimedia faster. To add bit of effects, this camera allows capturing videos in Black & White, Sepia, High Saturation, and 70s film look.
One can record up to 10 hours of 720p HD video at 30 frames per second and expandable memory slot allows holding up to 32GB data. You can hook the player to bigger High Definition display using its HDMI port and cable which are included in the bundle. PLAYTOUCH video camera will come in Smoke Gaze (Black), Chrome, Wine Country (Magenta), Cabana (Orange) and Spa Blue (Teal) color options for $300 MSRP (Rs. 14,000 approx.) later next month in U.S.
