    The flip flops continue unabated

In the latest twist to the BlackBerry and the Government of Saudi Arabia saga, the country's Telecommunications Regulator has apparently allowed BlackBerry services to continue unabated in the country.

While this certainly is great news for BlackBerry users there, the terms behind the reason for not banning haven't been made clear as yet. If that wasn't all, currently, it is unclear whether this is just a temporary lift on the ban or whether there could be a reversal should RIM not fulfill the terms set by the Saudi Government.

Saudi's tryst with BlackBerry ban began soon after its neighbor the UAE threatened to ban BlackBerry services citing security issues. India too is considering a ban on the services although no major decisions regarding such a ban has been made public. Let's hope this reversal of the ban is a permanent one.

As for India, do you really think the way things are moving, we would ever see a resolution to this long standing and now, boring issue? Leave us a comment and let us know.
