Has a good cooler that gives you lower temperatures and also runs silent

Good performance, efficient cooler, silent operation, connectivity, overclocks well

RAM chips aren't cooled, not all that faster than the 768MB version

The Palit card is the last in our current GTX 460 testing line up and today we bring you its review. Palit has gone with their custom cooler design even though it does resemble the reference cooler a lot. The central fan is large enough to provide adequate cooling while being silent at the same time. This is the Sonic edition of the card that comes with slightly bumped up clock speeds, which you can further tweak with their VTune software. There's also a Sonic Platinum edition that is overclocked further but doesn't make sense since you can take this card to those speeds quite easily. In fact any GTX 460 will overclock very easily to 800MHz.

The card comes packed in a fairly slim box with a basic brown cardboard for the interior packing. Next let's check the bundle and the card.
