Samsung has announced the launch of new additions to its 4000 and 5000 series of LED TVs in India. The additions include brand new 22-inch and 26-inch screen variants of LED TVs for the first time in India.

These new additions expand Samsung's LED TV line up to include TVs having 22-inch displays to monsters that measure 55-inches across.

LED TVs differ from LCD TVs as they use LEDs as their primary light source, rather than traditional Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (CCFL). This offers many benefits over traditional LCD TVs that include ultra-high contrast ratios, slim form factor and reduced power consumption. Samsung's 6200, 6900 series come with the "AllShare"  feature that allows users to wirelessly share movies, photos and music through a single device - the Samsung LED TV. They also come with four HDMI ports. The Series 4000 and Series 5000 stand out on the looks front and feature a crystalline appearance.

Samsung's new range of LED TVs now includes 13 models across four series. The price range of these TVs range from Rs. 25,000 for the 22-inch ones to Rs. 200,000 for the high-end ones.

Do not buy 22 inch and 26 inch. Because viewing angle is very less.Samsung customer care representative says it has only between 170 and 180.For solution to this problem ,they say you should esearch before buying. Please do not buy 22inch and 26 inch.L.G. is better. They do not have that problem.LED

The one drawback with LCD & LED TV's is we can"t able to visualise the exact picture from the side view. We hope that SAMSUNG is having its own caliber to produce the right product by overcoming this dis-effect.

Your explanation of LED TV seems incorrect. What you have said about LED TV is actually LED Backlit LCD TV which uses LED (instead of CCFL) for Backlighting . LED TVs are those where each pixel is represented by a LED and these TVs don't need back lighting. Now, are these LED backlit TVs or LED TVs?

No, the explanation in the article is indeed correct. An LED TV is actually an LCD TV with LED bulbs providing the back lighting. A normal LCD uses CCFL bulbs for backlighting.

We just bought Samsung 55" LED Tv and the picture is so clear. It beats Samsung 55 " LCD TV. I do not have words to describe the clearity of the picture- fantastic picture quality. If any one buys Samsung any size LED TV will not regret it. We can stream a movie also in HD quality. We love our new TV. Thanks.
