A graphics card that performs well but is priced too high

Very effective cooler, good OC software, build and design, low temperatures

No mini-HDMI to HDMI adapter bundled, a bit expensive

Design

Removing the card from the anti-static bag you'll immediately love the aggressive styling of the cooler and the black PCB. This card just begs to be overclocked and not doing so would be a sin. Apart from the cooler MSI also uses all solid state capacitors, solid state chokes and highly conductive capacitors for more stable power during overclocking.

The ports include two blue DVI-I port and a mini-HDMI port.

In the rear we have the same two 6-pin power connectors.

The cooler is made up of a nickel plated copper base that extends to two heat pipes. These then pass through aluminum fins, so the heat is dispersed with the help of the large fan. One thing to note though is that the cooler only covers the core and not the memory chips, so that's probably one of the reasons why the memory wasn't factory overclocked.

Next let's see how this bad boy performs in our slew of game benchmarks.
