HTC's freshly launched EVO 4G CDMA handset has gained loads of popularity. Recently, a GSM version of the same handset dubbed as HTC Ace was being talked about on the web by rumor mongers. Now, more details about that handset were grabbed by Superetrader. This new handset will be branded as HTC Desire HD (codenamed Ace previously) and will be launched sometime in October.
The features and specs of the same were also leaked online along with the release time. Take a look at the features that will sweep you off your feet. It's like the best of all features taken and put it into one phone.

The massive 4.3-inch WVGA touchscreen will certainly make Android 2.2 Froyo look brilliant, albeit with the HTC Sense UI interface. As of now, we don't know which screen will be used - an AMOLED or a Super AMOLED. The 1GHz processor and 8 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording is certainly a norm amongst the high-end smart phones.
Other worth noting features in Desire HD include SRS Surround Sound and XviD Video Playback. Also, HTC Legend's aluminum Uni-Body form factor would be taken and implemented in the Desire HD. We still calling it a rumor since HTC Desire is yet to reach out (officially) to many countries including India.
