Research In Motion has released yet another video of the upcoming BlackBerry OS 6.0 update. The video which is updated via RIM's official YouTube account shows a bunch of features which you can expect with the new update. Apart from the revised interface, the BlackBerry OS 6.0 will bring a slew of important features like multi-touch support, system-wide kinetic scrolling, new home screen and social media feeds features.

The freshly released video flaunts the fluidity in the interface and the better interactive features that can be expected out of this update. However, to be honest, there's nothing new that you can expect to see except the interface change. Certain features like Universal Search would remind you of the Spotlight search in the iOS platform. Likewise, the enhanced media interface shows is similar to Apple's Cover Flow feature.

Just like Android offers notifications on the top of the screen, the BlackBerry OS will bring a similar functionality to keep you updated with your emails, SMS, and social network feeds. The visual fluid interface shown in video is basically the support for various tap and hold gesture. For instance, if you tap and hold on the contact button, a menu will show up with bunch of options like call, text message, et al. Another focus is on BlackBerry Messenger that is fiercely getting popular. One can do lot of filtering with social feeds across different social networks through it.

Apart from this, the BlackBerry OS 6.0 also promises richer web browser and RSS reader. Without much ado, take a look at the BlackBerry OS 6.0 video below:

I've been looking forward to OS 6 but I can't help but ask obvious questions! What problems does it fix, which phones receive the update and what is being done aboit the buggy and annoying super press screen? What is bring done about the difficulty to copy from web sites? What is being done about storm 2 memory leaks? What new feature has been added that is new to RIM and not copied from I phone or android ? Everyone buys blackberries these days but mostly as a supporting phone and not a main phone, that's a slap on RIMS face! If care is not taken other phone companies would knock you out. OS 6 isn't unique to us because we have seen all this before I just hope it makes my storm 2 easier to use.

What is wrong with Techtree? The site interface has got devastated and the grammar is at an all time low. Do you not have any copy-editors? Sneak Peak? Is that correct? I have been a techtree loyalist for several years but now confirm that am done with this website and I am sure many will follow suit.
