Oscar Electronics has become the latest company to bring its range of mobile phones to India. The company has just announced the launch of 10 new Dual SIM handsets in the country. The new phones launched by the company include the following models: N1, N2, J1, J2, J3, J4, K2, K3 and Z1.

These phones are all priced between the Rs.1,700 to Rs. 4,500 price bracket and hence target the low-end segment. The range includes social networking capable handsets with QWERTY keyboards to music phones. The company will start selling six models initially followed by the other four next month.

The N1 is the cheapest handset in the range while the Z1 tops things off. Almost all devices feature a 1.3MP camera, FM radio and a media player. Like most other such players, Oscar is targeting the burgeoning low end segment in India which continues to see impressive growth in volumes month on month. Companies like Micromax, Karbonn and Lava Mobiles too are following the same strategy and has managed to garner a fair percentage of the rural market share in India.

Very sorry to see a good website redisigned to its death. Very little home page content. No point in burying content like that. Sorry. Techtree will suffer.
