    Amazon Launches Cheaper, Better Kindle

Amazon has announced new Kindle DX model with the all new high-contrast E Ink display screen. Kindle DX will come in a graphite colored enclosure and is priced at $379. It will start shipping on July 7 and currently available for pre-order at the Amazon website at - http://www.amazon.com/kindledx. When Kindle DX was first launched, it was priced at $489 but is now available for $379. However, the launch price of this new graphite Kindle DX is $379, which might go down by the Holiday season.

Kindle DX has a 9.7-inch new E Ink higher contrast bearing display screen that is claimed to be 50 percent better than the current one. The text will appear clearer and images will appear sharper on the display. This new display screen will allow one to read text comfortably even under sunlight.





The free 3G wireless feature still exists and Amazon claims to deliver Kindle Books in less than 60 seconds. The new device has the capacity to carry up to 3,500 books, periodicals and documents and can read till one week on single charge with wireless on.

Kindle DX will also have a built-in PDF reader so you can transfer all your documents and read them while on the move. Despite being an eBook reader, Kindle DX will offer automated screen rotation and text-to-speech feature.
