    Faster performance, better graphics, seamless switching between on-board and discreet graphics, good battery life, brilliant display, keyboard and trackpad

    No way to manually select just on-board graphics to save battery, some applications trigger the discreet graphics despite their undemanding nature, overheats excessively, only two USB ports, expensive

After making Mac loyalists wait quite a while Apple has finally updated the MacBook Pro range of notebooks with improved processors and graphics. The 15" and 17" models have received Core i5 and Core i7 processors with new NVIDIA 330M discrete graphics, whereas the 13" model got faster Core 2 Duo processors and NVIDIA 320M graphics. The graphics on the 15" and 17" models can automatically change to the on-board Intel HD graphics according to graphics requirements to save power. Another major change was the higher battery life, with Apple claiming an unbelievable 10 hours of battery life for the 13" MacBook Pro and 8-9 hours for the 15" and 17" models. We received the base 15" model, with 2.4GHz Core i5 and 4GB of RAM for testing. Let's see what this baby can do.

Heard that the Lion system is gonna be compatible with apps, just like iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone. Just wait a little bit longer to get the computer carrying the system with that capability. With free apps like those on the iFunia's website, it is gonna take the apple-fun to the next level.

Hey Prasad..no offence but i just bought exactly the same machine...i did n extensive search on the net before. after reading your review i see a LOT of SIMILARITY between them and your words....maybe all u ppl think alike... just had a feeling of deja vu..that's it.. the machine by the way is FANTASTIC...i strongly recommend it..

I'm not surprised. Considering the limited number of changes that Apple has done to the MacBook Pro I doubt you will find more variety in their description from various reviewers.

best machine ever....love its touch pad....battery is awesome....led screen is beautifaulll.....best sound in lappies....no heatin prob...all softwares are available on online.......sexy looks.....jst buy it and feel it.....i saw people jealous of it.....lov u steve jobs......

Well Apple notebooks are rubbish except for the keyboard & mouse pad. I have test them they were great but always expensive & no one buys them. Go get a Sony Vaio CW series for better use.

strongly disagree..i just bought BOTH..viao for my dad and apple for myself.. vaio same config..battery life only 2 hrs..apple 8 hrs !! i charge this thing like only once daily. also mac os..u hav to use i to believe it..it's fantastic..i don't miss windows at all...mind it i'm a HUGE fan of windows 7 have u tried boot camp..windows runs like WOW.. if u can afford it.go for a mac..dun think..u won't regret it..u get best of both worlds..
