LG has jumped into the tablet segment by showing off its brand new UX10 Tablet prototype at the on-going Computex 2010 convention in Taipei, Taiwan. New 10.1-inch LED display bearing LG UX10 tablet was shown off running Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. Looks like Apple, Asus and MSI will have yet another competitor in the tablet PC segment. There are no details on the pricing and availability but LG is indeed looking forward to bring this tablet to markets.

The shown LG UX10 Tablet prototype was equipped with 1.66GHz Intel Atom microprocessor with 1GB DDR2 RAM, 1.3 megapixel webcam, micro-HDMI port, SD Card slot, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and 7200mAh battery. Now this would be interesting since HP had ruled out the Intel Atom processor for its Slate tablet. We'll have to see how responsive the Windows 7 OS is to the touchscreen.

Smooth looking display and rounded cornered bezels made the tablet look attractive. Let's wait for it to hit the markets.
