    Android 2.2 'Froyo' ported to HTC Evo 4G

    The sweetness of Froyo now on the most awesome Android phone

Android's latest version may only be officially available on Google's baby Nexus One, but that does not stop the XDA developers from making sure that the other Android phones also get their fair share of some Froyo goodness. So, soon after the HTC Desire was rooted to run Froyo, we now have mighty HTC Evo 4G being rooted to run the latest and greatest version of Android.







All this comes courtesy an XDA user, Richard Ross a.k.a. Toastcfh who has posted a video of Froyo running on the Evo 4G. The process hasn't been detailed yet, but we will post it as it's made available.

So when did Froyo "officially" get released on the Nexus One? I still haven't seen an "official" update pop up on my N1 yet...
