More than two years ago, the world was left stunned with the announcement of a new product line by Sony Ericsson - the XPERIA. Eventually, the buzz died down and when we actually got the first device (the XPERIA X1) in our hands, we weren't even close to being blown away by it. Time passed by and so did XPERIA from the minds of many. The XPERIA X2 was launched last year, which improved on certain facets like the camera and DivX/XviD playback, but was trashed for having slow hardware that made Windows Mobile on it crawl. Also, Sony Ericsson couldn't spawn Microsoft's stylus-era OS into something fairly usable as HTC could with their phones.
But now we have a completely redesigned XPERIA; both from the inside and outside. Probably that's why SE felt that this phone deserved to be coveted with a two-digit alphanumeric name - the X10 - instead of calling it the X3 or something.
So has Sony Ericsson's efforts paid off into creating a highly desirable phone? Or will it slowly bite the dust like its predecessors?
The bundle includes the X10 phone, 1500 mAh battery, charger with attachable USB cable, bass reflex earphones, an 8GB microSD card and instruction manual.
